After clearing our garden before winter I have found a few broken solar lights getting rusty. I hate throwing things away so I took one apart and seen that the glass top could make a lovely candle holder. I up-cycled all of them, decorated them with colourful ribbons, inserted small candle lights and ended up with a lovely collection.
This super easy and FREE up-cycling trick is the perfect idea not only for Christmas. You can decorate the glass for any season and use them on tables, fire places, window sill, in the garden...just use your imagination.
